Orange Oriole, endemic bird specie only found in the Yucatan Peninsula
We were about to head home when we were rewarded with this spectacular scene of an Orange Oriole feeding on nectar from a flower. This time, I was really, really, really prepared for this! My Canon 100-400mm telephoto lens was all set up and ready to shoot!
Here she is eyeing on this flower as if sizing it up before proceeding to gather some nectar... She is such a beauty!
Camera: Canon EOS 5D Mark III full-frame
Lens: Canon 100-400mm f/4.5L IS II USM Telephoto
